It is alot bigger than I thought. When I took the wrapping off, it just went poof and fluffed up. I waited till the next day and it was fully expanded. This is so comfortable and soft. I love the arm rest. The only thing I don't like is I couldn't unzip it to wash the cover, so I febrezed it. Other than that it's perfect.
Last night was my first try of this pillow, it’s quite heavy to move around, but once it’s in the right place, it does not move. I’m hoping the shredded memory foam moves around in the next few up coming days, as it’s slightly hard for me. I’ve had a major operation on my front and back, so it’s difficult for me to push back into pillow yet. I use this to sleep sitting up in bed, as I am unable to lay down at all. I still slide a little, but it’s very comfortable, it’s like getting a huge hug. Would recommend giving this a go. Just be patient and I’m sure the foam will sort itself out
I love this pillow! The size is amazing and it is so comfortable. When I started working from home, I was having to work from my bed and my pillows did not give me much support so I bought this and it has been amazing.
I really like this pillow for it’s comfort and support. I needed a pillow that would be comfortable for sleeping in a more upright position and this fits the bill. The shape fits well and the angle of support is just right. It is much lighter in weight than I expected but still of substantial construction. It is also nice looking, has helpful pockets on side and back and a carrying handle. The cover is made of good material and it looks like it will wear well. Really like the color of the cover. It was exactly the shade of “springy” green I wanted. The packaging was good. It did take some getting into but viewed that as a good sign that it was well-protected during transport. Just be patient and careful or it would be easy to slice or cut into the pillow or cover when unpacking it. The pillow took about a day to fully expand. The literature advises there may be an odor that requires some airing but there was nothing noticeable. All in all, I am very pleased with the pillow and look forward to long use.

I bought one for my daughter going off to college. During the summer when she brought it home I used it a few times - wow what a game changer. I like reading in bed but after a while my lower back and neck bother me. This pillow seems to really help support it somehow because after buying one for myself and using it I no longer have those issues. I also love the fact that I can unzip the cover and wash it, especially after 2 semesters on campus for my daughter's. It doesn't loose its shape so you do not have to keep buying a new one every year.
I've had lower back issues for years and find sitting for long periods very painful - so I wanted something more than just piling pillows trying to get comfy and this was perfect. I tend to also take the lumbar pillow on car rides as well
I pleasantly surprised with this reading pillow! The filling is different than others I've used, but it makes for a really comfy pillow. Best I've found! You have to follow the directions and it took a bit of a tumble in the dryer for the pillow to be ready for use. It's totally worth it!
It took a few days of tumbling it around on the couch to get the foam to distribute itself evenly but that's noted in the directions. It's large enough to support an adult very well & the arm rests are really nice to have. I like having my arms supported. I bought it mainly to use for reading in bed so that I can keep both legs elevated for health reasons but I had to return it because once it opened fully, although it was supportive, I could barely move it around to position it or to take it on/off the bed as needed. It was simply too large, heavy & awkward for me to manage but it's very important to note that it was difficult for me to manage because I'm an elderly female & simply not as strong as I used to be. A smaller size would be better for my needs but this did exactly what it says it will & looked well made to me. It was just heavier than I could manage otherwise a good solution for my needs.
Well made, sturdy and love the pockets. They are large enough to hold my phone or glasses. If I had to do it again I might buy a taller one so that I could have a little neck support too, but I chose to get the standard size. So that's on me.
Very comfortable. East to push back into shape in morning. I sleep on it with another pillow on top for my head and neck. I have to sit up to sleep. Helps me relax and easiest the tension in my back.
I bought this based on the fact that the product photo pictures a high back. In reality, the back is not nearly as high as shown. The height is exactly the same as every other reading pillow out there. For reference, it’s as high as a standard sleeping pillow.
As far as support goes, it’s stuffed very well. The back offers more support than something you would find at Target or Walmart. Don’t be fooled when you open the package. It’s super compressed. I threw it in the dryer for a few minutes and it fluffed right up.
All in all, I am pleased with it. The quality is great. I just wish the back was high as shown in the product photo.
I was worried about this reading pillow because you have to shake it and fluff it and wait for it to expand. I wasn't sure I could get it right so I asked my old man to do it. I wasn't sure he could do it either but he did. It provides excellent back support and arm support. It doesn't provide neck support if I'm using it to sit up rather than laze back, but I expected that. Had I wanted neck support that way I would have bought the larger size. It does exactly what I wanted it to do which is allow me to have a backrest that didn't go flat as I sat in bed coloring. For my needs, it's perfect. I'm 5'1" at 183 pounds and I don't exert enough pressure to even slightly flatten this pillow. It's very supportive of my back whether I'm sitting up against it or lazing back. The arms are very supportive too. I haven't used the pockets but they are in a good position and seem like they would work well. The material of the covering is soft and relaxing. I have fibromyalgia and it doesn't set it off at all and for me that requires softness like velvet. I'm very impressed. It may look a little bumpy but I can't feel any bumps when I lean back on it.
